Traffic Alert: Methow Valley Tour Bike Race - June 17th

Please be aware that on Sunday June 17th, 2007, the Methow Valley Tour bicycle race will be passing through the Town of Winthrop. Multiple groups of racers will be passing through and will be using portions of Castle Avenue, Corral Street, Bluff Street, West Chewuch Road, and Highway 20 west of the Barn. These "pass throughs" will begin about 8:45 am and will occur periodically throughout the day until mid-afternoon. Race personnel will be controlling traffic at intersections along the affected route. Please use extra care in travelling through the affected area and cooperate with traffic control personnel to ensure a safe and enjoyable day for all.
